With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Roy has developed a comprehensive understanding of various energy sources, including oil, gas, and fuel cells and has worked at multi-national oil and gas companies (Chevron and Saudi Aramco) in a wide variety of positions and functions.

Roy graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from LSU, Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. His passion for Africa was formed as a Peace Corps volunteer in Segou, Mali, West Africa focusing on Urban Sanitation projects.

Director of Operations
Lee Mutale is a dynamic entrepreneur and seasoned executive with a strong foundation in finance and accounting. A qualified accountant and MBA graduate from the University of Liverpool, he brings over a decade of experience in financial and business management across diverse sectors of the Zambian and regional economy.
After a successful career in finance, Lee transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding and scaling ventures that have made significant contributions to Zambia’s mining, industrial, and energy sectors. His strategic foresight, financial acumen, and analytical rigor have been instrumental in driving sustainable growth across these enterprises. With proven strengths in project management and team-building, Lee consistently delivers complex projects with precision and impact.
As Managing Director of Operations, Lee leads market expansion and strategic partnerships. He is recognized for leveraging international expertise to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that align global standards with local infrastructure and industrial needs. He also holds leadership roles with Rusco Cable and Transformers Ltd, a multidisciplinary energy solutions company responsible for several medium-scale renewable energy and electrical engineering projects across Zambia.
